Smash Box Convert?

After years of being a die hard Mac Studio Fix fan I thought it was about time
I tried a new foundation.

Someone had kindly bought me a smashbox try it kit for my birthday and
I thought the Primers were amazing. So that and the fact there is a shiney new
SB counter in my local boots is the reason I thought I'd give their foundations a try.

The counter ladies were extra helpful, lovely and not at all intimidating like some counters
(name dropping nobody)
I like a medium to full coverage with a matte finish due to my unfortunate oily complexion, so
Studio Fluid was recommended to me.
At £27.50 I thought it was pretty reasonable and so far I am in love with the flawless finish
It has given me. It is very matte so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with dry skin.
I also wouldn't use a powder over the top because I think it would be too full on and heavy.

Pros and Cons (Smashbox V Mac)

In terms of value for money Studio fix is the better option, not only is it £6 cheaper
they also have 39 shades on offer in comparison to smashbox's 12.

They are both oil free. Smashbox claim to be water, sweat, humidity and transfer resistant
I can't vouch for all of those but it definately didn't budge after a 9 hour shift at work.
I'd go as far as to say It looked even better as the day went on.

The smashbox 'Try it kit' is amazing value for money and would be a great introduction
to the brand if you are not yet familiar with their products.
