i'm very much a dark shade girl, i prefer it & i'm known as the gothic one because of this, am i complaining? certainly not! mac's nightmoth liner & cyber lipstick fulfills my lipstick needs & i have no shame choosing this combination most days!
But saying that, with the glorious weather we've had this summer, & which we seem to still be having i have found it hard to wear my darker shades in daylight without looking like i should be laying in a coffin, feasting on people's blood & turning into a bat as a means of transport.
Thus making me go over to the real dark side - the girly side!
This summer i've found myself reaching for pinks! & generally not the soft pinks either, the vibrant 'hurts your eyes looking directly at it' pinks & un-embarrassed to say it, i've loved every second of it!
Winter is definitely on it's way, with the nights drawing darker & the temperature dropping, soon enough i will be back to my old ways wearing my lovely dark berry shades, but before i put away my pinks - lock them in a box discreetly under my bed until next summer, i thought i would show you my top 10 pink lipsticks, you are guaranteed to find a shade for you, starting from the soft muted pinks all the way up to barbie pinks!
Regrettably, 70% of these are mac, i really do need to start exploring more brands, but when the pigmentation, texture & overall finish of mac lipsticks are just perfection, i cannot help it .. nor do i really want to.
